Night two- post surgery at home

This will be short, and not super sweet.

Tuesday, Jan 30th, was busy… for everyone but me. I am trying to settle into this new rhythm of not doing anything, literally, anything, while the world around me continues to move at the pace it must in order to accomplish the tasks at hand. So while my wife and kids are transitioning from school to extracurricular activities, I am propped in the bed like some saggy pillow waiting to be stuffed for the evening.
